Job summary

Sierra Space seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Louisville, CO. You will lead medium-sized cross-functional teams through design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.

You will provide technical guidance, perform risk and opportunity management, and interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure schedule and cost goals are met. A PMP or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience with strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience with EVMS, CAM, risk & cost/schedule management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-sized cross-functional teams and projects from design to implementation.
• Provide technical estimation support for Basis of Estimates, Proposals and Contracts.
• Conduct trade studies and evaluations, mentor junior engineers.
• Manage supplier relations, statements of work, and schedule recovery plans.
