Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr Business Partner in Space, Presentation and Transitions (SPT) to lead adjacency and space strategies across merchants, driving optimal store layouts and presentation decisions. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, influence leaders, and guide a global team to ensure accurate execution of space plans.

The role requires a four-year degree and 4+ years in retail spaces, with strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of work experience in retail, specifically Space & Presentation, Buying or Planning is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise.
• Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnership across merchant leaders to drive adjacency and space strategy.
• Coordinate and execute space strategies across a cross-functional team to elevate adjacency architecture.
• Influence merchant leaders on space moves and transitions through storytelling and strong communication.
• Lead a global team (India) to bring space strategies to life and ensure accurate execution.
• Engage merchandising partners to develop and evolve adjacency direction for new store/remodel programs.
• Lead special projects related to new merchandising strategies and space solutions.
