Job summary

Gravitics seeks exceptional engineers to own the product lifecycle for an in-space electrical power system from design to deployment. You will lead development of a robust, mission-critical system that performs reliably across orbital missions.

In this role you will design, analyze, and verify power subsystems, work with structures, thermal, avionics, and GNC teams, and coordinate with external vendors to ensure schedule, quality, and performance meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• 5+ years in power converter or electrical power system development.
• Experience designing and testing 1–10 kW power systems.
• Familiarity with space environment packaging and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test electrical power subsystems for flight hardware.
• Define and maintain power system requirements and architecture trades.
• Analyze performance via modeling, simulation, and testing.
• Interface with cross-functional teams for vehicle-level integration.
• Coordinate with external vendors for qualification and sourcing.
