Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Power Conversion Electrical Engineer IV to work highly independently, cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers and Customers.

You will provide design and analysis for DC/DC converters and filters for space and Hi-Rel applications, including radiation-hardened concepts, topologies, and documentation; mentoring others and leading project work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of microelectronic dc-dc power conversion and control design.
• Radiation effects on components and high-reliability hardware design.
• Knowledge of discrete analog circuit design and power electronics.
• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate circuit or system performance of dc-dc power converters and filters.
• Design discrete analog control circuitry resistant to radiation effects.
• Develop DC power conversion hardware for spaceflight and Hi-Rel applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead complex projects.
• Interface with customers and attend technical meetings; translate market specs into design requirements.
