Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior/Staff Architect to lead architecture studies for human spaceflight system concepts in Houston. You will collaborate with NASA customers, program offices, and contractor teams to frame problems, identify gaps, and assess trade spaces.

You will contribute to architecture conceptualization, modeling, and evaluation using SysML/UAF/UPDM, while mentoring junior staff and delivering formal technical reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in engineering/related field with relevant fundamentals.
• MS degree preferred with demonstrated experience.
• Experience in architecting and engineering of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture studies for human spaceflight concepts with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with NASA and contractor personnel to elicit needs and scope studies.
• Communicate methods, results, and recommendations in briefings and reports.
