Job summary

Qwaltec, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of technical solutions for spacecraft Mission Operations Centers, ground systems, and antenna networks.

You will work with customer-facing and BD teams to shape offerings, respond to solicitations, and win new mission work. The ideal candidate has broad mission lifecycle experience including console operation, ground system design, and architecture leadership, with strong communication and aviation/space domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in defense and/or civil space programs.
• Experience architecting or leading design of Mission Operations Centers and satellite ground systems.
• Full lifecycle experience from console operation to on-orbit support.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions for MOCs, ground systems, and antenna networks.
• Translate requirements into architectures leveraging OrbitCmd and Leanspace.
• Lead architecture discussions and briefings with senior government and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with BD and capture teams to shape win strategies and technical approaches.
• Develop reference architectures using DOD frameworks and modern practices.
