Job summary

Gravitics in Texas is seeking engineers to own the full product lifecycle of complex space structures, including pressurized assemblies and mechanisms. You will define requirements, create interfaces, and guide development from concept through qualification and post-flight analysis.

Candidates should have 8+ years in space or defense programs, experience with CAD (Siemens NX), FEA tools (Nastran, ANSYS), and GD&T; Bachelor's in an applicable field; will collaborate with suppliers and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and relevant aerospace experience.
8+ years of professional experience in space vehicle, launch vehicle, or missile programs.
Experience with CAD, FEA, GD&T and structural test planning.

Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle of moving mechanical assemblies from concept to post-flight analysis.
Apply hand calculations to iterate designs rapidly.
Build and assess FE models to prove design adequacy for vehicle needs.
Create detailed drawings with GD&T and tolerances.
Own tooling design and implementation for programs.
Design test plans and compile verification reports.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing to realize designs, managing schedule and budget for hardware.
