Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the SLS program for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center. The role focuses on planning and performing systems engineering for the development, integration and verification of IATF, SDF and emulators used to verify the Space Launch System avionics.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, interfaces, verification plans, and collaborating with software, hardware and facility teams.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and STAR ID required
• Experience in systems engineering for hardware and software integration, requirements development, verification and validation, and testing
• Experience defining simulation system level requirements and software requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support to NASA SLS Avionics and Ground Systems Test Branch (ES53) at MSFC.
• Define/evaluate SLS IATF, SDF and Emulator requirements, interfaces and verification/validation activities.
• Create verification/validation plans, protocols and reports; execute plans and resolve deviations.
• Manage timeline for verification and validation activities and generate status reports.
• Ensure test systems are validated and controlled; document pass/fail results and trace to requirements.
