Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Launch Systems Engineer to provide senior‑level leadership in launch operations and space segment engineering within a secure government environment.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful integration of space systems with launch vehicles and guide design, integration, and testing to readiness. Qualified candidates will have expertise in classified weapon system launch planning, space vehicle engineering, and experience

Qualifications

• Expert in classified weapon system launch planning, processing, and execution.
• Space system design, test, and launch vehicle integration knowledge.
• Space vehicle engineering, design, integration, and test expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication to briefing leadership.
• Experience in SAPF/SCIF environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership in launch operations and space engineering.
• Ensure space systems integrate with launch vehicles and coordinate across teams.
• Guide design, integration, and testing to readiness.
• Identify risks and present mitigation to leadership.
• Prepare technical briefings, reports, and decision-support materials.
• Represent the program in launch planning meetings and reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers in launch and space practices.
• Ensure compliance with SAP/SFSCIF environments.
