Job summary

Lunar Outpost seeks a Senior Contracts Specialist to draft, review, and manage contractual documents, negotiate with suppliers and government entities, and ensure compliance across programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in contract administration, preferably in aerospace, with strong writing, organization, and cross‑functional collaboration skills in a fast‑paced startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in aerospace or a technology startup environment.
• Working knowledge of contract law principles, including contract interpretation and implementation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support negotiation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain contractual documentation.
• Assist with contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and government entities.
• Review contract terms and conditions to identify risks and elevate issues.
• Support coordination of contract implementation between the Company and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Maintain contract records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support contract administration activities across internal departments.
• Assist with government compliance requirements, including documentation and reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
