Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking several Staff Applications Engineers to act as technical experts for customers, from marketing stages through in-orbit support. You will shape product feedback, teach customers via labs and video calls, and craft app notes and diagrams for a seamless user experience.

The role emphasizes exceptional technical communication, travel up to 20%, and collaboration with design engineers to understand RF, digital, power electronics, embedded software, FPGAs, DSP, and mechanical

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in technical product development or application support.
• Working knowledge of RF electronics and communication systems.
• FPGA and embedded software experience for SDRs.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Experience with technical customer relationships.
• Methodical electronics and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python.
• Broad exposure to high-speed digital systems, power electronics, and RF.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical customers through use and integration of CesiumAstro products.
• Author technical notes, user manuals, and white papers.
• Translate customer feedback to product teams.
• Build long-term relationships with technical customers.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve anomalies.
• Develop processes to structure product development and application.
• Become a technical expert across RF, embedded software, and interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership to the Business Development Team.
