Job summary

Perdue AgriBusiness seeks an Agricultural Process Engineering Subject Matter Expert to serve as the technical authority for soybean processing, oilseed preparation, solvent extraction, and related plant systems at our Chesapeake facilities.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, safety, and project teams to optimize safety, reliability, efficiency, and product quality while leading front-end engineering for capital and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to plants, project sites, and remote facilities.
• Bachelor’s in Chemical/Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain process safety documentation and design criteria.
• Lead front-end engineering and scope development for projects.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, FAT/SAT support, and startup readiness.
