Job summary

EVgo is seeking an experienced SOX Compliance professional to independently own and execute the 404 control program for assigned processes. You will coordinate with Internal and External Audit, assess deficiencies, and design remediation with clear timelines.

You will also maintain SOX documentation, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff while supporting broader governance objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SOX/controls experience and testing.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Strong documentation and remediation planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently own the annual SOX 404 control assessment cycle including risk and scoping.
• Lead testing with Internal and External Audit, manage evidence requests and fieldwork.
• Evaluate impact of deficiencies and recommend severity conclusions.
• Own SOX documentation for assigned areas (policies, procedures, flowcharts).
• Develop and drive remediation plans with timelines and testing.
• Assess changes to processes to ensure controls address risks.
