Talent Mappers in partnership with a Brickell wealth management firm seeks an Internal Controls & SOX Senior Associate to strengthen its ICFR and financial reporting framework.

The role is hands-on with exposure to finance, accounting, audit, and business teams, covering testing, remediation, policy governance, and process improvement as the organization scales. 4+ years in SOX/ICFR in a public-company setting is required.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience in SOX/ICFR, internal audit, or related fields.
• Experience in a public-company SOX/ICFR environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and control design.
• Hands-on experience with control testing, documentation, and remediation.

Mansioni

• Support SOX/ICFR compliance program, including documentation, testing, issue tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain risk and control matrices (RCMs), process narratives, flowcharts, and control documentation.
• Collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to evaluate control design and gaps.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, including walkthroughs and testing.
• Track deficiencies and remediation through to completion.
• Assess control implications for new systems, acquisitions, and process changes.
• Support governance documentation and audit-readiness initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvements across the control environment.
