Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Senior SOX Analyst to lead and own the SOX program for designated processes and applications. You will drive risk assessment, walkthroughs, control documentation, and audit coordination across finance and technology stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5+ years in SOX/compliance, strong communication, and experience with ITGCs or ITACs. In-office with flexible remote options; salary $71k–$125k and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or risk roles.
• Foundational understanding of SOX, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of SOX activities for assigned processes or applications.
• Drive preparation and maintenance of key SOX artifacts (walkthroughs, control inventories).
• Lead walkthroughs with process owners and document risks and controls.
• Coordinate audit deliverables and remediation with stakeholders.
• Build relationships with business, finance, and technology stakeholders.
• Identify improvements across the SOX lifecycle and governance.
