Job summary

Sixty Vines in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support daily culinary operations. You will partner with the Executive Chef to lead shifts, develop Team Members and uphold our standards for quality, consistency, safety and presentation.

The role offers a salary of $55,000–$75,000 per year plus monthly profit share, with flexible scheduling and strong growth opportunities within a wine-country inspired concept.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience in a similar role.
• Strong background in high-volume, scratch-kitchen operations.
• Experience leading, training and supervising hourly Team Members.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, equipment and best practices.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, purchasing and food-cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain a hands-on presence during prep and service.
• Ensure recipes, portions and presentation standards are consistently executed.
• Monitor food quality, ticket times and kitchen readiness each shift.
• Lead, coach and develop culinary Team Members.
• Manage shifts, inventory, ordering and vendor relationships.
• Maintain sanitation and food-safety practices.
