Job summary

Landry’s Seafood House is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will lead daily kitchen operations, coach and develop team members, and uphold exceptional standards for quality and consistency while supporting overall restaurant success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of culinary management in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision abilities.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction through a hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
• Assist the Executive Chef in managing back-of-house staff, including ongoing training and development.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution.
• Oversee weekly/monthly inventories and ordering of food and supplies.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and OSHA-compliant standards.
