Job summary

American Dining Creations in Wildwood, Missouri is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Chef and Executive Chef in daily culinary services. This role collaborates with culinary staff to ensure recipes and safety standards are followed.

You will assist with food stations, cater events, supervise BOH, maintain production records, and help plan schedules. The company offers weekly pay, 401K, health plans, ongoing training, and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in culinary arts or hospitality preferred.
• Three years in a similar culinary leadership role preferred.
• Experience planning and managing employee schedules, hiring, staff development.
• Strong time management; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, catering, ordering and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of local/state food safety regulations.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs, stand, walk and bend daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with all culinary service points including stations and catering events.
• Provide guidance and supervise BOH staff.
• Ensure recipe standards, ingredients and food safety protocols are met.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized and maintain production records and equipment.
• May cover a shift or station during peak operation hours.
• Meet daily with Executive Chef or General Manager regarding operations.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
