Job summary

Advocare in Richardson, TX is seeking a Senior Manager of Sourcing and Supplier Partnerships to lead strategic sourcing and build strong partnerships with CMOs and critical suppliers. You will translate business priorities into sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and monitor supplier performance in a GMP-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and data management.
• 3+ years in CPG and regulated GMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with financial and operational goals.
• Drive cost savings through bidding, negotiations, and value analysis while maintaining quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Support supplier performance programs including KPIs, scorecards, and reviews.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks through diversification and inventory strategies.
• Oversee purchasing operations including PO management and ERP accuracy in GMP environment.
• Collaborate with Finance, Planning, Marketing, Quality, and R&D to align purchasing with forecasts and new product introductions.
• Support new product development by sourcing materials and qualifying suppliers.
• Partner with Finance to monitor spending and budget forecasting.
• Lead and develop the Supplier Operations Specialist.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory, and GMP standards.
