Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Manager of Strategic Sourcing to optimize PDS/Construction sourcing across the US. You will lead strategic initiatives, drive cost efficiencies, and work with legal and risk teams to ensure compliant contracts.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing, strong communication, and team leadership. A Bachelor's degree is required, and construction management experience is a plus. Remote-friendly with multiple US locations.

Manager, Strategic Sourcing

What this job involves

• Provide Project Delivery Services (PDS / Construction) clients and internal stakeholders related to optimization of JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies across the US.
• Responsible for executing PDS & IFM Projects strategic sourcing by developing innovative ways to drive the best total cost of ownership across Clients portfolio of projects.
• Enhance PDS strategic sourcing organization and delivery through collaboration with the corporate sourcing and project management teams, developing innovative ways to simplify our processes through utilization of tools and communication to increase account/project team productivity.
• Use category intelligence and data analytics, including capital plans and project demands, to set strategy and drive results.
• Advance the preferred supplier program within PDS to demonstrate the value of our scale and supplier relationships.
• Provide management and execution of RFP/bid, contracting and operational processes around subcontracted goods and services.
• Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance to JLL’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
• Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes and are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
• Establish work priorities, assign deliverables and resolve issues with Operations teams, temporary help and/or project-specific dedicated personnel to assure client satisfaction, customer satisfaction.
• Support and assist development of diversity programs in accordance with clients and company requirements.
• Mentor/educate suppliers through meetings.
• Participate and provide leadership to Preferred Supplier performance review meetings.
• Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives.

Requirements

• Excellent Inter-personal skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability, Proven ability to lead teams.
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and 5+ years strategic sourcing or related experience.
• Proven track record and deep experience of work within the construction management industry Project management and business transitions experience preferred.
• Knowledge of supply base and/or sourcing business practices specific to the Construction and Real Estate industry a plus.
• Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications.

Estimated compensation for this position: 120,000.00 – 130,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
