THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Sourcing Manager serves as the strategic architect of our global supply chain, responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies that sustain our healthcare distribution network. This role will develop key supplier relationships while mitigating supply risk. This position will oversee a diverse portfolio, sourcing finished goods from leading medical companies, proprietary products through global contract manufacturers, and components for internal manufacturing. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this position will act as a vital bridge between our Product Management, Commercial, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring our sourcing activities align with market strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Sourcing Transformation: Lead the transition from tactical purchasing to a proactive, strategic sourcing model by establishing value-focused processes and KPIs that align with organizational objectives.
  • "Player-Coach" Leadership: Provide hands‑on leadership and professional development for the Sourcing team while also executing on high‑value sourcing initiatives.
  • Contracts & Pricing: Negotiate supply agreements and implement a robust contract‑management framework to protect the business while driving fiscal improvements.
  • Assess, select, and manage a global supply base to optimize total value, mitigate risk, and ensure supply continuity; identify and execute on supplier consolidation opportunities.
  • Develop and leverage strategic relationships with suppliers of national brand and private‑label healthcare products as well as contract manufacturers.
  • Establish cross‑functional relationships (e.g., Product Management, Commercial, Manufacturing) to proactively translate organizational needs into long‑term sourcing and supplier‑management strategies.
  • Monitor commodity indexes; execute cost‑reduction opportunities; issue and negotiate RFQ’s for best possible terms and value for the organization.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in a sourcing role supporting internally manufactured and externally procured finished goods; high‑SKU distribution environment preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of management experience.
  • Medical products experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to act decisively.
  • International and domestic sourcing experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
