Job summary

Vizient in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Sourcing Executive for Heart and Vascular, Interventional Radiology, and Imaging to lead sourcing strategies and manage complex negotiations across clinical categories.

You will partner with Legal, oversee the full sourcing lifecycle, develop cost-saving initiatives, and present findings to executives. Hybrid work three days onsite in Columbus and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, contracting, healthcare supply chain.
• Experience in Heart and Vascular, Interventional Radiology, and Imaging.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of complex contract terms and structure innovative solutions.
• Partner with Legal to draft, refine, and validate contract language.
• Manage full sourcing lifecycle: opportunity assessment, RFP design, bid evaluation, supplier selection, implementation.
• Develop sourcing strategies from spend analysis, market trends, benchmarking, supplier dynamics.
• Identify cost-savings initiatives based on financial analysis and market intel.
• Oversee contract maintenance: amendments, renewals, compliance, performance.
• Use contracting platforms to support workflow efficiency and savings tracking.
• Present negotiation updates, strategies, risks, and recommendations to clients and leadership.
• Build partnerships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate complex strategies to executive audiences.
• Facilitate consensus among physicians, clinicians, and leaders for decisions.
