Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of growing purchasing team.
• Participate in Process improvement and development of purchasing department.
• Communicate on critical orders or delays and relay updates to internal teams.
• Provide supplier requirements; track and follow up on purchase orders.
• Serve as liaison between sourcing buyers, vendors, and accounts payable.
• Develop product knowledge through competitive bids.
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise via internal communications.
• Support Buyers in vendor meetings and assortment planning.
• Conduct market research on pricing, availability, and trends.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate shipping with vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maximize profit with strategic buying plans.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain records of purchases and delivery information.
• Prepare cost analyses and purchase reports.
• Follow up with suppliers on schedules, claims, and capacity issues.
• Replenish inventory based on usage and existing stock.
