Job summary

F5 is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer for the State, Local Government, and Higher Education vertical. You will translate F5’s portfolio into scalable, secure solutions for mission-critical public sector architectures and engagements.

As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll support sales with demos, POCs, and design work, collaborating with account teams to drive deals while ensuring high availability and secure application delivery across modern environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity/experience with F5 or similar deployment is a plus.
• Experience and backgrounds in security, network, and/or infrastructure engineering.
• Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate F5’s strategy and value aligned to customer business outcomes.
• Deliver technical sales activities including presentations, solution design, demos, and POCs.
• Qualify opportunities and map customer stakeholders.
• Partner with account teams to drive deals by engaging technical decision-makers.
• Act as a trusted advisor to validate requirements and guide solution adoption.
• Provide consistent, high-quality customer engagement across the lifecycle.
• Lead design and positioning of F5 Distributed Cloud solutions for secure, cloud-native architectures.
• Advise on API security strategies to protect and scale customer environments.
