Job summary

Cordial is seeking a Solutions Engineer to guide clients through successful platform implementations, third‑party integrations, and unique use cases. You will be the subject matter expert, enabling clients to maximize Cordial through RESTful APIs, JavaScript Snippet, and Dynamic Scripting across marketing stacks.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cordial Solutions Engineer is the team member regarded as the Cordial subject matter expert. You will be responsible for guiding Cordial clients through a successful implementation of the platform, third party integrations, and providing solutions for complex and unique use cases.

YOU WILL

• Be client obsessed. You will consult with clients directly as a subject matter expert of the Cordial platform. You will assist clients in understanding how they can apply new product features and enhancements to align with their business goals. And you will develop and share best practices to clients. Clients will adore you.
• Make implementations look easy. You will help clients implement Cordial’s RESTful API and JavaScript Snippet into their marketing stack and maximize the value generated from the Cordial platform. Easy breezy.
• Solution like a boss. You will identify issues, recognize patterns, propose solutions and help to create repeatable processes and/or documentation to assist with the long-term success of our internal team, clients, and partners. You will enable clients to use dynamic scripting for email language and machine learning capabilities. You will design data structures that will gracefully flow downstream and integrate into Cordials object model. You will always be thinking of solutions.
• Act as and help the Project Manager. You will manage internal stakeholders and external client expectations on projects and timelines.
• Collaborate all day, everyday. You will work closely with the product team to improve client adoption across our entire platform. You will also collaborate with our Client Success, Strategy, Support, and Sales teams to ensure Cordial is continuously meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations and goals.
• Be an organized sensei. You will document and record all completed project work allowing a manageable framework that everyone can access for success. Obsessive documentation is key to being great. You know that.

ABOUT YOU

• You are seasoned. You hold a BS in Computer Science or a closely related field. You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in professional services. You have a track record of driving meaningful, successful implementations and managing client projects. You’ve got some tricks up your sleeve!
• You love technology. You are eager to be an expert in Cordial’s technology and you’d work diligently to remove any friction preventing our clients from unlocking the power of the platform. Cordial has a robust ecosystem with various inputs/outputs including a RESTful API, JavaScript Tag, Dynamic Scripting for Email/SMS/Push, and a sophisticated UI. All that sounds fun to you, so keep reading.
• Your superpowers are your technical skills. You have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, you are comfortable with JSON data structure, you read/write HTML/CSS/JavaScript, you have experience with PHP (or other programming language), and you are capable of using Browser Developer Tools. Also you understand differences between SQL and noSQL.Your family doesn’t understand what you do for a living; they just know you’re wicked smart.
• You are a professional problem solver. You have the ability to handle difficult or unexpected technical issues and/or complex business challenges while remaining calm and identifying solutions. You will handle incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner because you’re a pro!
• You are confident. You have no problem working with senior level marketers, IT /systems integrators and marketing technology and services partners.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

United States

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 base salary annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with base salary, Cordial's compensation package includes equity and bonus, a robust benefit plan (medical/dental/vision/life), 401k match, flexible time off. Additionally, we offer perks such as childcare and continued education yearly reimbursements.

United Kingdom

£85,000–£100,000 base salary annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with base salary, Cordial's compensation package includes equity and bonus, a reimbursement for private medical insurance, a pension scheme, and flexible time off. Additionally, we offer perks such as professional development yearly reimbursements.
