Comprehensive Logistics, a Company of AXVOR, designs and runs highly engineered logistics and manufacturing-support solutions for some of the most complex supply chains in the automotive and manufacturing world. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a Senior Solution Design Engineer to help architect what comes next.
What you'll do:
- Lead engineering for RFQs, RFPs, and new business opportunities — turning customer requirements into real, operationally sound supply chain solutions
- Design warehousing, transportation, sequencing, assembly, and packaging solutions, including facility layouts, process maps, and material flow designs
- Build labor models, capacity plans, and throughput/scenario analyses that hold up in the real world
- Identify operational risks and evaluate automation, technology, and process improvements to boost efficiency and scalability
- Provide engineering assumptions and operational inputs that shape pricing and business case development
- Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and IT to pressure-test feasibility and alignment with customer requirements
- Support customer meetings, site visits, solution reviews, and proposal reviews throughout the sales cycle
- Lead engineering support through startups, transitions, and ramp-up — developing implementation plans, staffing strategies, and readiness assessments
- Monitor startup performance, apply lessons learned to future designs, and keep engineering tools, templates, and design standards current
What you bring:
- 5-8+ years in Solutions Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or Supply Chain Design
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management
- Experience with RFQs, warehouse/network design, and customer implementations
- Strong Excel and analytical modeling chops; bonus points for Power BI, Tableau, SQL, AutoCAD, or Visio
- Working knowledge of WMS, TMS, or ERP systems
- Lean/Six Sigma mindset and comfort juggling multiple projects at once
Certifications (a plus, not required):
- APICS/ASCM CSCP or CPIM
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
If you like solving hard, concrete operational problems and seeing your designs go live on a warehouse floor — not just in a slide deck — we'd like to talk.
