Job summary

Sonatype is seeking a Senior Solutions Delivery Engineer to guide customers through onboarding, migrations, configuration, and optimization of Sonatype products. You will partner with engineering, customer success, sales, and product teams to resolve challenges and drive outcomes.

The role emphasizes delivery leadership, mentorship, and ensuring engagement quality across regional projects with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software delivery.
• Knowledge of repository management, artifact workflows, CI/CD tools, containers, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, modern build ecosystems, and SDLC.
• Ability to lead customer engagements with clear communication, documentation, and ownership.
• Proficiency with Groovy, Bash, Python, Helm, or YAML.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team, supporting engagement quality, consistency, and best practices.
• Act as an escalation point for complex engagements, guiding resolution within scope.
• Support and mentor other Engineers in the region through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Improve service templates, delivery standards, and internal docs for consistency and scalability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and convey delivery updates to management.
