Job summary

Sonatype is seeking a Senior Solutions Delivery Engineer to guide customers through onboarding, migration, configuration, and optimization of Sonatype products. You will partner with engineering, customer success, sales, and product teams to deliver impactful outcomes and provide delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team.

The role emphasizes engagement quality, mentorship, and consistent delivery practices across regional engagements. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• 8+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software delivery.
• Experience leading customer engagements with clear communication and ownership.
• Knowledge of repository management, artifact workflows, CI/CD, containers, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team, ensuring engagement quality, consistency, and best practices.
• Act as escalation point for complex engagements and guide resolution within service scope.
• Mentor other Solutions Delivery Engineers through reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance.
• Improve service templates, delivery standards, and internal documentation for consistency and scalability.
• Share delivery insights with cross-functional partners to inform improvements.
• Communicate regional delivery topics, consolidating updates, risks, and escalations for leadership review.
• Travel may be required for certain engagements.
