The Role:

We’re focused on the growth of our life sciences forecasting consulting capabilities to utilize our underlying best-in-class data and technology solutions and provide customized forecasting solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Solution Consultant with an entrepreneurial mindset who can drive pre-sales efforts on life sciences forecasting solutions’ subscriptions and consulting/services opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand Client Needs and Propose Customized Forecasting Solutions (Products and Services):
    • Learn clients’ nuanced indication-specific custom forecasting needs and provide expert recommendations on optimal forecasting approaches/solutions
    • Propose customized forecasting models (using best practices) for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
  • Industry Forecasting Expertise and Client-Management Excellence:
    • Maintain and continuously enhance knowledge on forecasting models and changing dynamics across diseases and the life sciences industry overall
    • Ensure excellence and clarity in client communication
    • Create effective high-quality proposals and RFP/RFI responses
    • Create and deliver detailed, actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations that convey insights clearly and effectively
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Regularly monitor and track key performance indicators to support decision-making
    • Through the win/loss process, gain a perspective on industry competitors, market trends, emerging approaches and work with key internal stakeholders to shift strategy and solution design
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance cross-team culture to ensure effective pre-sales deal support
    • And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare management, business administration, or a clinical discipline). An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PhD) is strongly preferred.
  • Industry experience in a life science company’s forecasting department or consulting experience in building forecasting models is strongly preferred.
  • Hands on experience with forecasting for new product planning, product launch, inline product forecasting, and scenario modeling is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of patient-based forecasts, consensus forecasts, RWD-based forecasts, epidemiological models and model optimization is preferred.
  • Proven track record of high performance in a client facing role within the life sciences industry
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover opportunities for forecasting consulting and create repeatable packages.
  • Stellar communication and relationship management skills that foster trust and lasting client partnerships with the ability to demonstrate empathy and confidence in interactions with clients.
  • Collaborative team player who is driven to win as part of a team and capable of managing fast paced activities while remaining optimistic.
  • Data driven communicator and ability to synthesize issues quickly and with confidence
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and thrives on winning through continuous improvement
  • Operates with a high level of ethics and communicates with honesty and transparency
