Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Solutions Architect (TS/SCI) in Reston, VA to translate IT needs into concrete architecture plans, designs, and concepts. You will lead the creation of data models and architecture artifacts while guiding a team of developers toward future solutions architects.

In this role, you will drive cloud migration, leverage modern technologies, and ensure compliance with federal IT standards, mentoring the next generation of engineers along the way.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect or technical lead.
• 3+ years in an architecture-adjacent technical role.
• Experience designing building data models or data architectures.
• Experience with federal IT and security standards.
• Experience managing system requirements.
• Knowledge of data formats or languages that manage data, including SQL, JSON, or XML.
• Knowledge of platform technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or IaC.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer IT needs and goals into an architecture plan by crafting architecture products, design specifications, proof of concepts, and requirements.
• Mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow's solutions architects.
