Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 to lead architecture discussions for performance, security, and scalability. You will evaluate technologies, define solution frameworks, and drive proof-of-concept validation across broadband gateway platforms.

The role requires deep embedded systems experience, including C++, Python, Linux (Yocto/Buildroot), and RTOS, with emphasis on scalable, secure architectures and strong collaboration with client teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of embedded firmware experience in broadband gateway platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (11/14/17) for embedded contexts including RAII and STL.
• Experience with Python scripting for analysis and automation.
• Proficiency with embedded Linux environments (Yocto/Buildroot) and device tree.
• Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr) and embedded peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB).
• Knowledge of safety or quality standards (ISO 26262, IEC 62304, MISRA C/C++).
• Experience with wireless stacks (BLE, WiFi) and edge AI or DSP.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture and drive design creation.
• Identify suitable technologies and perform market analysis to recommend optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies based on proof-of-concept validation.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards during transitions and deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues through deployment and rollout.
• Analyze system performance and identify risks in the system landscape.
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions.
