Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Solution Architect who translates customer IT needs and future goals into actionable architecture plans, crafting design specs, requirements, and integration strategies for national security missions.

You’ll mentor engineers, guide secure mobility initiatives, modernize legacy systems, and design CSfC-aligned architectures while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or mission-system architecture for defense, intelligence, or federal programs.
• Experience developing solution architectures and roadmaps across multiple domains.
• Experience producing architecture artifacts such as system views, interface specs, or decision records.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as DoD STIGs, RMF, or NIST 800-53 / 171.
• Ability to lead workshops and briefings, coordinate schedules, manage risks, and validate implementation against architecture intent.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Management field.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or INCOSE CSEP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for designing and sustaining enterprise architectures.
• Develop architectures, roadmaps, and design documentation across domains.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and technical interchange meetings.
• Incorporate security frameworks into design baselines.
• Stay current on secure mobility, encryption, MDM, VPN, CSfC components.
• Define system-of-systems integration approaches and governance models.
