Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Defense Solutions Architect to shape end-to-end architectures for high-stakes defense captures. You will translate mission needs into credible technical solutions across cyber, AI/ML, and digital infrastructure, and support bids with narratives, diagrams, and BOEs.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in solution architecture, DoD/government experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams under deadline, with active security clearance potential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or systems engineering.
• Experience in one or more focus areas: Undersea Autonomy, MBSE, DevSecOps, Software Engineering, Digital Infrastructure, AI/ML, Networks, or Enterprise IT.
• Experience supporting defense capture, proposals, or technical solutioning in a government context.
• Experience authoring technical volumes, solution narratives, or written proposal artifacts.
• Experience with DoD/IC clients and government acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development and architecture visioning during capture, shaping, and pre-RFP phases.
• Translate mission needs into actionable solution concepts and win themes across domains.
• Produce solution narratives, architecture diagrams, and BOMs for bids.
• Evaluate competitor approaches and pricing-to-win to ensure differentiating solutions.
• Contribute to proposal development including technical volumes and oral presentations.
