Job summary

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking Senior Solutions Architects to assist clients in the DC Metropolitan area. The role focuses on translating business needs into large IT system designs and guiding data integration across desktop, web, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with data analytics, strong communication, and recent leadership of Agile teams. This position offers opportunities to influence projects and collaborate with federal clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with large data analytics platforms.
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Active Public Trust clearance.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Led software projects delivering data integration across desktop, web, and cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client business requirements into systems, applications, or process designs for large IT solutions and integration.
  • Provide architecture guidance to meet business problems.
  • Analyze existing/peripheral systems requirements considering technology needs.
  • Define input/output parameters and ensure system integration via data exchange methods.
  • Participate in governance meetings for system/architecture guidance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on technologies that meet business needs.
  • Advise on Target Architecture and portfolio selection aligned to architecture goals.
  • Develop project plans and ensure on-time delivery of customer products.
  • Create test cases and conduct testing modules as projects are developed.
  • Work with leadership, government officials, customers, and technical teams on status updates.

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking Senior Solutions Architects to assist clients in the DC Metropolitan area.

We are building a network of qualified candidates to help meet current and future openings. Although this posting may not result in an immediate hire, applicants will be considered for upcoming opportunities that match their qualifications and business demand.

Primary job duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating the clients’ business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
  • Analyze and identify all or part of an organization’s existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the system or subsystem via data exchange methodologies.
  • Participate in technical exchange and governance meetings used to develop, issue, and monitor the implementation of guidance on systems/architectures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients about what technologies best meet their business needs.
  • Support with management of overall agency IT portfolio including provide recommendations on Target Architecture and selection of new IT into portfolio that is aligned to Target Architecture.
  • Analyze client’s business problems and provide recommendations on what technologies and accompanying processes will solve their issue.
  • Maintain clients’ database with performance analysis tools.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related subject.
  • A minimum of ten years’ experience working with large data analytics platforms.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an Active Public Trust clearance or higher.
  • Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Successfully led software development projects focused on delivering seamless data integration capabilities through desktop, web, and cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience collaborating with program leadership, government officials, customers, and technical teams to provide status updates and address project challenges.
  • Experience leading Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement and planning sessions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with collaboration and project management platforms such as Jira and Confluence, as well as data visualization and geospatial analysis tools including Tableau and ArcGIS.
  • Hands-on experience developing software solutions using JAVA and/or the .NET environments, and good understanding of Azure and/or AWS.
  • Ability to understand and design technical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of existing systems and solutions within federal government departments and agencies.
  • Ability to develop project plans and propose project goals, objectives, and tasks to achieve on-time delivery of customer products.
  • Experience developing test cases/scenarios, ensuring consistency in project plans and updates, and conduct testing modules as these are developed.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale software implementation projects.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for keeping up with latest software and technology tools and trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Anticipated salary range is $130,000 - $190,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education or training.
