Responsibilities

We seek an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect (Presales) based in the USto join our growing team. This role will report to our Director of Solutions Consulting and will play an integral role in creating a vision for our customers. It will also be the trusted advisor on Workato’s AI Agentic capabilities to provide thought leadership best practices and help scale and drive adoption to achieve its strategic initiatives.

In order to be successful in this role, you must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of Workato’s products to prospective business and technical users and buyers with a focus on enterprise applications. You will also help shape the product and direction of the company by communicating market needs to the Product Management team.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be part of Workato’s global solution consulting team and architecture community and own the technical alignment with the customer during the pre-sales lifecycle through workshops and interactions that define the customer’s future state for AI agents.

In this role, you will also be accountable to:

Lead and participate in both pre and post-sales activities with direct end customers and partners.

Be a Workato evangelist with the ability to discover and demonstrate how Workato can effectively help companies with their business automation needs across a broad set of industries.

Become the trusted technical advisor to customers and partners from an overall solution, architecture and implementation perspective for the Workato platform.

Develop collaterals: presentations, demos, white papers, best practices, solution packs.

Conduct customer training, Work-jams, implementation and product support.

Mentor and train team members.

Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

Computer Science or BS or equivalent education.

7+ years of Solutions Consulting / Solutions Architect experience is a must.

5+ years of experience with Integration and Middleware tools is a must.

Communicate effectively with Technical, Business and C Level stakeholders.

Understand the security and governance needs of Enterprises.

Knowledge of key applications such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, EBusiness Suite, Databases.

Experience having worked in a start-up environment is a plus.

Knowledge of Java and Ruby is highly desirable.

Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP a plus.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey and relate ideas to others and work collaboratively to get things done.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
