Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Solutions Architecture Manager to own end-to-end microservice and API architecture for custom solutions, spanning React frontend and .NET/Python backend teams. The role emphasizes Domain-Driven Design, event-driven patterns on Azure Service Bus, and architectural reviews across initiatives.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive ADRs and design documents, and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to shape technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering or architecture, with 4+ years in a solution architect role on complex multi-service platforms.
Expert-level design of microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
Hands-on with React frontend and .NET and/or Python backend services.
Strong experience with Azure cloud services and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs across frontend and backend services.
Design microservice and API architectures; define service boundaries using DDD.
Architect event-driven patterns using Azure Service Bus; define schemas and error handling.
Enforce coding standards and best practices across React and .NET/Python teams.
Ensure security, scalability, resiliency, and observability are embedded in designs.
Lead architecture reviews and produce ADRs, HLDs, and OpenAPI specs.
Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering leads to shape technical roadmaps.
Provide mentorship and conduct design and code reviews.
