Job summary

RSM seeks an accomplished Solutions Architecture Manager to own end-to-end microservice and API architectures for our custom solutions. You will define Domain-Driven Design boundaries, implement event-driven patterns on Azure Service Bus, and set engineering standards across React frontend and .NET/Python backend teams.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years in software engineering or architecture with at least four years in a solution-architect role on multi-service platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in microservices design and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Deep hands-on experience with React frontend and .NET and/or Python backend services.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end designs for multi-frontend/back-end solutions.
• Design microservice and API architectures with clearly defined service boundaries (DDD).
• Architect event-driven patterns using Azure Service Bus and define message schemas, topics, and error handling.
• Enforce coding standards and best practices across React and .NET/Python teams.
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, resiliency, and observability are embedded in designs.
• Lead architecture/design reviews for new features and third-party integrations.
• Produce ADRs, high-level design docs, and API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Collaborate with product managers and UX to shape technical roadmaps.
• Provide mentorship and conduct design and code reviews.
