Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking a knowledgeable Solutions Architect to lead the development and implementation of Information/MES solution architectures for manufacturing clients. This role requires a minimum of 10 years experience in the sector and hands-on experience in industrial environments.

The successful candidate will mentor colleagues, lead key projects, and build relationships with partners while advising on AI strategies integrated into solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing software arena with lead-architect accountability.
• Hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading solution architecture across complex programs.
• Deep architectural experience across configurable and custom software.
• Architectural-level knowledge of relational and time-series databases.
• Experience architecting enterprise-to-plant-floor integrations.
• Advanced experience on major industrial software platforms.
• Customer-facing advisory experience in pre-sales engagement.
• Proficiency using GitHub Copilot and/or Claude.
• Architectural fluency in generative-AI and LLM patterns.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales engagements.
• Lead solution architecture including requirements specification.
• Perform gap analysis to close identified gaps.
• Build relationships with key partners in manufacturing software.
• Advice on AI architecture in Convergix-delivered solutions.
