Job summary

Farm Bureau Financial Services seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect to direct enterprise solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.

You will guide technology guidance, manage portfolios, perform cost-benefit analyses, and collaborate across IT and business teams to shape strategic technology choices. The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, a strong foundation in enterprise architecture, security, data management, and cloud/on-prem integrations, with in-person work at our West

Qualifications

• College degree (Computer Science or software engineering preferred) or equivalent.
• Seven or more years of experience executing technology strategies and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with core processing platforms across on premises, SaaS, and Cloud.
• Knowledge of IT platforms, standards, and industry trends.
• P&C insurance/financial services knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide enterprise technology guidance, principles, and architecture guardrails.
• Support portfolio management, analytics, planning, and budget input.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams on solution costs and vendor systems.
• Help oversee technology portfolio and ecosystem at Farm Bureau.
• Research, design, and implement new initiatives for efficiency and automation.
• Evaluate requests for new systems, applications, and product standards.
