About the Job

The Solution Architect role is responsible for driving revenue by engaging directly with current and prospective customers to gathering critical customer requirements, design a solution strategy and communicate that strategy to the customer to demonstrate how the solution strategy addresses the customer requirements.

The Solution Architect maintains pulse on current and future trends in the government market – especially competitive, technological, government compliance and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Overall support of the objectives of the Strategic Account Managers to grow market share.
  • Facilitating documentation of business case for product development.
  • Assisting in the development of research analysis techniques to determine supported solutions meet prospective customer and partner business needs.
  • Providing solution-based subject matter expertise in the evaluation and response to RFPs and unsolicited proposals.
  • Managing customers, clients and prospective clients with clear communication and needs analysis. Assisting with customer presentations, including the ability to conduct impactful web-based and on-site product demonstrations.
  • Maintaining a current understanding of competitor offerings to effectively differentiate LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
  • Formulating a professional development plan with team members respect to internal/external educational programs for knowledge sharing with Strategic Account Managers.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of proven experience in sales, client engagement, or related roles—especially in identity services or government sectors.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, information systems or related work experience.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in systems and data integration. Experience integrating data and services.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
  • 50% Travel required within U.S.
