Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to roll up sleeves and work hands-on with partner teams, building prototypes and GenAI patterns in real time.

You will architect agentic systems using Bedrock, AgentCore, Step Functions, Lambda and EventBridge, and develop reusable designs that scale across engagements.

You will lead with customers, pair-program with delivery teams, and travel ~25–30% to engage with partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development, cloud computing, or related field.
• 3+ years designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy solutions on AWS alongside partner teams — from proof-of-concept to delivery, focusing on agentic AI apps.
• Architect agentic systems using Bedrock, AgentCore, Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Work embedded with partner teams — pair-programming, code reviews, debug distributed systems, iterate rapidly.
• Create reusable assets — reference implementations, starter kits, deployment templates (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) and docs.
• Own the technical relationship with large consulting partner customers — trusted hands-on advisor.
• Drive adoption through building — deliver working software and convert proof-of-concepts into reusable patterns.
• Contribute thought leadership — author blogs, whitepapers, open-source projects; present at AWS events.
• Advise on feedback to AWS service teams and suggest feature requests.
