Description

eero is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to represent all aspects of the eero solution and integration process to B2B customers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wifi and networking technology, capable of building trust with stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and solving business goals with technical solutions.

A Sr Solutions Architect at eero combines communication and technical skills to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, developing networking solutions that meet business objectives. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Business Development team to identify opportunities, designing solutions, demonstrating technical capabilities, managing proof of concept, and supporting business growth. You will also work with Product and Engineering teams to incorporate customer insights into product development, test products in lab environments, and create sales and enablement materials.

This role requires travel to customer sites within the USA, estimated at 25 to 40% of the time, to assist with designing and deploying eero solutions.

Key job responsibilities

1. Deeply understand and discuss eero solutions, differentiators, wifi and wired networking technologies, APIs, and cloud architecture with customers and partners.
2. Conduct Proof of Concept demonstrations of eero solutions.
3. Collaborate with product and engineering teams on roadmaps and new product development.
4. Author white papers and technical notes highlighting eero’s features.
5. Compare eero with competitors and create testing guides for partners.
6. Develop integrations between eero tools and customer management systems.
7. Create API scripts for deployment automation and monitoring.

Basic Qualifications

1. 8+ years experience in relevant technology domains (software development, cloud, systems engineering, security, networking, data analytics).
2. Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
3. In-depth knowledge of wifi and networking protocols.
4. Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience as a Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer in networking.
2. Industry certifications like CWAP or similar.
3. Proficiency with wireless packet capture tools such as Wireshark, OmniPeek, Ekahau.
4. Experience with site survey tools like Ekahau.
5. Skills with testing tools like iPerf and IxChariot.
6. Comfort with scripting languages and API automation.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong analytical skills for data collection and interpretation.
