Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across various digital platforms including web/mobile apps and APIs. This hybrid position combines leadership in modernizing legacy systems with hands-on work in the Google Cloud Platform.

The role requires extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in architecting scalable, secure solutions, and governance of API ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in microservices and have a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in Solutions Architecture.
• Proven experience designing large-scale, customer-facing digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Lead monolith-to-microservices modernization using GCP.
• Define and govern API ecosystems with strong lifecycle management.
