Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Public Sector Partners team in the United States. You will guide defense-focused cloud deployments, architect multi-service workloads on AWS, and help partners ship GenAI and data solutions that deliver measurable mission impact.

You will work with senior technology and business leaders, influence AWS service roadmaps, and mentor peers while traveling up to 30% for field engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 4+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience in GenAI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with Defense Tech partners adopting AWS—from whiteboard to production at scale.
• Design cloud architectures that solve real mission problems and enable GenAI and data solutions.
• Guide partner architectures, build proofs-of-concept, and ensure measurable impact.
• Serve as a technical thought leader on security, GenAI, analytics, and modernization.
• Mentor junior SAs and codify best practices into reusable patterns.
• Travel about 30% of the time.
