Senior Solutions Architect, AWS, WWPS SA - EDU & SLG West

Would you like to help government customers achieve their mission using innovative cloud computing solutions? Do you have a knack for helping people understand system architecture and guiding them toward successful implementations?

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) to work with our California State and Local Government customers. As an SA, you'll provide trusted technical guidance to customers in the context of their mission, directing them toward the best technical outcomes. You will collaborate with other Amazonians to achieve revenue and business goals. You will develop technical content such as workshops, samples, and blog posts. You will contribute back to Amazon by collecting customer feedback, mentoring other SAs, and helping scale the business.

This position must be located in Sacramento, CA. This position may require travel up to 30%.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years in technology domains like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data analytics

  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience architecting solutions on AWS

Our compensation ranges from $138,200 to $239,000 annually, based on location, experience, and skills.
