Job summary

City of New York invites a Senior IT Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise IT solutions for HRA/DHS. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring secure, scalable architectures for portal and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six or ten years of enterprise/solutions architecture experience.
• Experience leading design sessions and translating functional designs to technical implementations.
• Familiarity with security policies and standards in a large city environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and development of complex code modules and POCs for portal and mobile apps.
• Provide oversight on functional and technical aspects of COTS extension standards.
• Lead fit/gap analysis and translate designs into detailed technical design for large-scale apps.
• Ensure integration points are agreed, documented, and aligned with the City’s architecture; support secure, compliant designs.
• Spearhead Security Accreditation for ACCESS HRA solutions; ensure production releases meet DSS/OTI policies.
• Conduct security scans (Veracode) and fix vulnerabilities; utilize ELK for analytics.
• Oversee App Store Review process for iOS and Android releases and support testing across environments.
• Maintain project technical documentation and upgrade AHRA solutions stack.
