Cummins is actively seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design scalable, reliable architectures for corporate IT systems in Columbus, IN. You will define component structures, interfaces, and reference architectures that empower teams across regions.

Lead collaborations with business and technical stakeholders, evaluate new technologies, run pilots, and guide change management to ensure value, security, and governance in complex enterprise landscapes.

Competenze

• Demonstrated architecture and design experience with modern architectural patterns.
• 10+ years of total professional experience in software development or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience as Software Developer/Technical Lead is required.
• Complex Application Solution Design utilizing technologies like Java/Angular/Kubernetes/.Net/PhP is needed.
• Architecture development framework and methodology to design systems landscape and interactions within enterprise, utilizing Mulesoft, Azure APIM, Azure Data Factory, etc.

• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions that maximize business value and user adoption.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, software trends, and tools while leading pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new capabilities and future opportunities.
• Assess infrastructure capacity and future technology needs while providing strategic recommendations that support growth, performance, and long-term business objectives.

• Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
• Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and disciplines. Drives actions to minimize, monitor and control risks and issues and to maximize the most positive outcomes possible.
• Demonstrated architecture and design experience, strong knowledge of modern architectural patterns, cloud platforms and integration technologies.
