Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Solution Architect – Agentic AI to define and drive enterprise architecture for next-gen AI agents. You will shape reference architectures, standards, reusable frameworks, and governance enabling scalable adoption across domains.

Remote position in the United States. You will lead strategy, reviews, and guardrails for enterprise AI initiatives, collaborating with senior leaders to accelerate deployment and adoption.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.
• 5+ years of experience building AI/ML or Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong experience defining enterprise architecture, reusable frameworks, design patterns, and technical standards.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise reference architectures for AI Agents, Agent Factory, Agent Runtime, AI Control Plane, and AgentOps platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and implement guardrails for Agentic AI solutions.
• Lead the technical strategy for Agentic AI adoption across the SDLC and business domains.
• Drive architecture reviews and governance for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Architect reusable agent capabilities and memory services, context engineering, workflow orchestration, and tool registries.
