We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analytics Platform Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-centered data analytics platforms. In this role, you will shape architecture strategies that support enterprise data platforms, data transformation, business intelligence, advanced analytics, and machine learning initiatives across Mass General Brigham. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams to ensure our data platforms meet current business needs while preparing the organization for future data-driven innovation.
EducationBachelor's degree in a related field required; master's degree preferred.Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience8-10+ years of experience across network architecture, data warehousing, software development, systems architecture, and database design.5-7 years of experience in data analysis, including data interpretation, modeling, and reporting.Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry preferred.
Strong expertise in information security, network architecture, and data architecture.Experience designing, implementing, and securing systems across LAN/WAN, SANs, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Knowledge of routing, networking protocols, and performance optimization.Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, relational databases, dimensional modeling, and SQL query optimization.Experience with data integration and ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, and cloud-based data platforms.Understanding of software architecture and development principles, including microservices, service-oriented architecture, APIs, scripting, and DevOps automation.Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, data security practices, and cybersecurity considerations.Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
