Job summary

CLA is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our Information Technology team in Houston. You will shape the firm's technology landscape by partnering with stakeholders to design scalable, secure architectures that enable advanced analytics and enterprise capabilities.

You will lead architecture governance, develop roadmaps, and ensure implementations meet standards. Strong communication, problem solving, and integrity are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Enterprise Architecture Design - Ability to develop and maintain architecture frameworks and standards.
• Solution Architecture - Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions.
• Data Architecture & Pipeline Development - Proficiency in building data pipelines and enabling analytics solutions.
• Cloud Technologies - Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
• Integration & API Management - Strong knowledge of system integration patterns and API design.
• Security & Compliance - Understanding of security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Technical Governance & Documentation - Ability to enforce standards and produce clear architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee implementation of solution architectures, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Enable data-driven solutions by architecting data pipelines that support advanced analytics.
• Provide guidance and oversight to technical teams during design and implementation phases.
• Review technology initiatives for alignment with architecture principles and recommend improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural initiatives and governance processes.
• Champion best practices and enforce compliance with established architecture standards.

How you'll create opportunities in this Senior Solution Architect role:
